As an experienced paediatrician with more than 20 years clinical experience, he also specialises in treating children with general medical conditions.”

Dr Yeo is a Specialist Paediatrician and Paediatric Neurologist trained in the United Kingdom. He joined Neurology Service, KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Singapore since December 2016. He was the the Head & Senior Consultant, Neurology Service until 2024. His special clinical interests include paediatric neurology, epilepsy, tics & Tourette syndrome, movement disorders, neuro-rehabilitation and cerebral palsy.
He completed his postgraduate Basic Specialist Training at Children’s Hospital for Wales, Cardiff, and Higher Specialist Training at Southampton Children’s Hospital, Southampton. Via highly competitive national selection, he was appointed to complete the Subspecialty Programme in Paediatric Neurology at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospitals, Manchester. He was awarded Completion of Certified Training (CCT) in Paediatric Neurology & Paediatrics by Royal College of Paediatric & Child Health (RCPCH) and General Medical Council (UK) in 2012. He was elected as Fellow of the RCPCH in 2014 while he was appointed as a Consultant Paediatric Neurologist at Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow from 2012 to 2016. He pioneered Paediatric Complex Motor Disorders Service, Neuro-Rehabilitation Service, and Pharmacological Modulation Therapy & Service for Glasgow & West of Scotland. These services provide multi-disciplinary pharmacological modulation therapy, intrathecal therapy, selective dorsal rhizotomy (SDR) programme, and the use of other pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions of managing complex motor and movement disorders in children and young adults. He was also the lead neurologist for the UK nationally funded Vein of Galen Malformation Programme for Scotland and North of England.
Dr Yeo was also appointed as Honorary Consultant Paediatric Neurologist at Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital and Evelina Children’s Hospital in London, where he developed his expertise in Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) for children with complex movement disorders.
Dr. Yeo joined the Neurology Service, KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital in 2016. He was appointed as the Head & Senior consultant of the Neurology service until 2024. During his appointment at KKH, he set up several clinical services including Paediatric Complex Motor Disorders and Movement Disorder Service and Paediatric Integrated Neuro-Rehabilitation Service.
Dr. Yeo actively engaged in clinical research, undergraduate and postgraduate education in Singapore. He has published widely in several reputable peer-reviewed journals, and was an invited speaker in several national and international meetings. He received several research grants including MOH Singapore funded Health Service Development Programme (HSDP) award and KKH Paediatric ACP Tan Cheng Lim Innovation Grant.
He was appointed as a Clinical Assistant Professor with SingHealth Duke-NUS (National University of Singapore), Adjunct Assistant Professor with Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (NUS), and Senior Lecturer with Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
In recognition of his clinical and service contributions in Singapore, he had received several awards over the years. These include Service of the Heart Awards and the SingHealth Quality Service Award: Gold (2018 and 2024).
